Lonestar Collaborations

Betsy Cagle serves as WIT's Director of Sponsorships. In this role, Betsy leads her team to build relationships within the business community to generate interest and sponsorships for WIT's platinum events.

In 1993, Betsy Cagle helped co-found Atlanta's Women in Technology (WIT). Over the past seven years, she has served in the roles of president, vice president and director of membership. When WIT, the Southeastern Software Association (SSA) and The Business & Technology Alliance (B&TA) joined forces in 1998 to form the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), Ms. Cagle was selected to move up to the TAG board where she served as a director for two years.

In March 2002, Ms. Cagle started LoneStar Collaborations LLC in order to use her wide variety of skills to help companies succeed. Since starting the company, Ms. Cagle, acting as an Independent Sales Executive, has generated sales for a variety of companies such as, an Electronic Medical Records software company, an Atlanta-based internet consulting firm, a sales training, consulting and software firm, an event marketing non-profit working in the technology sector and a company who designs and develops unique ways for sending video email.

In addition, she has shared her expertise in sales in a personal coaching capacity with executives who need help in polishing their selling skills.

Ms. Cagle began her professional career in the technology sector over 14 years ago. As a Senior Sales Executive she was instrumental in opening the Southeast territory for two technology companies, Usertech (now Ceridian), a Connecticut-based consulting company and MainControl (now MRO Software), a Virginia-based software company.

During her tenure in the technology industry, she has served on numerous local and national technology boards. In addition to WIT and TAG, Ms. Cagle has also served on the Sponsorship Committee for TechBridge, an Atlanta non-profit organization that provides technology services to other Atlanta non-profits.
