Anna Convery
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management
Nexidia Inc.

Convery, along with Scott Palmer is co-chair of WIT Connect '08. Convery most recently was awarded the 2007 Women in Technology Women of the Year for Emerging/Small Organizations.

Convery is currently the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for Nexidia. Nexidia is the developer provider of phonetic-based technology for audio and video searches.

Previously, Convery served as Vice President of Marketing at Jacada Ltd. Convery has a bachelor's degree in business studies from the University of Ulster in Belfast, Northern Ireland and a master's degree in international business studies from Université Louvain la Neuve in Brussels, Belgium.

Kasie has been a part of the WIT organization since 1998, holding numerous leadership roles and developing new programs like the WIT Executive Coaching Program, culminating in her presidency in 2004. Kasie's legacy for WIT was secured with the launching of the WIT Foundation during her presidency and subsequently became the WIT Foundation President during its’ inaugural year of operations in 2005. She co-chaired WIT Connect in 2001 and is delighted to be back involved with this cornerstone event.

A change agent experienced in developing new organizations within Fortune 500 companies, and launching new companies, her focus is on ensuring strategy aligns with execution that is repeatable and measurable. Capable of developing strategies and identifying immediate steps needed to achieve the goal; her expertise is best leveraged when organizations are reaching for the next level of growth.

She offers over 20 years experience in the development and execution of profitable business initiatives and a successful background in business strategy and development, direct and channel marketing strategy and execution, sales, customer experience management, service/support, relationship management and operational management.
