Strategic Alliances covers a broad range of activities which support WIT's desire to provide new and better opportunities for female technology professionals to develop. Depending on what you or your company would like to accomplish, the Alliances team can connect you to all aspects of WIT.

The Alliances team works with companies to design and deploy exceptional professional development programs that are either standalone or compliment existing programs. WIT also partners with other community organizations to support programs that enable the WIT mission. And, through alliances, companies can find opportunities to secure visibility in the community through cross-marketing, sponsorships, etc.

Internal WIT Programs
Providing professional development programs for your company's most valuable resource, your employees, is essential in this day and age. These programs not only enhance the individual's ability to perform and excel, but they also build company loyalty.

An Internal WIT Program may be a standalone program or it may be something that compliments existing programs within your company. WIT has researched best practices and learned through application the types of programs that enhance employee potential. WIT can help you build the foundation for your program and compliment the program with other WIT initiatives.

Perhaps your company would like to host a panel discussion for your female IT team. WIT can provide speakers from our Speakers' Bureau. Is your company looking to not only build company loyalty internally but to also build visibility in the community? The Alliances team can connect you with marketing and sponsorship opportunities. Or, perhaps, as part of your professional development programs, you want to encourage your employees to be active in WIT. The Alliances team can assist with membership and volunteer activities.

Educational Outreach & Recruiting
In addition to working with corporations, WIT also develops relationships with community organizations and educational institutions to develop and expand programs where we have a common mission. Over the past decade, WIT has partnered with many non-profits to provide the resources needed to execute programs that support the development of women.

For example, in 2004, WIT partnered with Springboard to bring the Springboard Growth Capital Workshop to Atlanta. This 1-day workshop provided education on growth equity markets to female entrepreneurs. As part of the seminar, WIT brought in established female entrepreneurs to talk about all aspects of building a business, from marketing to hiring, from securing funding to establishing a vendor list.
