Some volunteers are only needed for a very specific period; others may be needed for the entire year. Volunteer Care Captains

• Responsible for the care and involvement of a selected group of volunteers.
• Serve the organization by supporting the ongoing recruiting efforts thus increasing the power and influence of WIT.
• Because VCCs have a solid knowledge of WIT and the programs WIT offers they have the ability to help members find the best place to become involved.
• Maintain documentation and organize gatherings to help Volunteers get acclimated into the organization.

Benefits to serving as a VCC: You'll have the opportunity to work with all volunteers and on all events in support of WIT. The exposure to the organization is wonderful not to mention the ability to work so closely with so many! This opportunity could lead to your development as the Volunteer Director for WIT!

Sales Team Volunteers

• Build a sponsorship pipeline.
• Conduct prospect meetings.
• Coordinate efforts with Sponsors.
• Bring in at least one sponsorship per year.
• Help with table sales, gift bags, ticket sales.

Benefits to serving on the technology team: Use your technical skills on a high traffic website and work with a great team of volunteers that share your talents!
