"Dear Weather Women,
Thank you for letting us see all the technology that you have. It was amazing how much technology you guys can fit in one room. Some of my favorite things we did were being on T.V. and talking into the micraphone. I really look forward to seeing myself on the Internet. I enjoyed learning about the picture library and how they used it, meeting Kathrine, watching someone talk on live radio, seeing and standing in front of the green screen, watching people do the weather on live T.V., seeing the computer rooms, and seeing “Little Boy”. I understand what “I.T.” means and the message you want us to know that “girls can be anything they want to be”. I love the backpack and the books!
Your Friend,
Stephanie"

Dear Weather Channel Friends,
I enjoyed being at The Weather Channel. Thank you for having us.
Women in technology are so interesting. The computer room was full of technology and really windy. The reporting room was interesting because we saw women on T.V. and we saw women working with technology.
I really liked being on T.V. The green screen was so much fun. Seeing myself on the internet is going to be so exciting.
I like the backpacks that you gave us.
Love,
Sarah Breitbach
P.S. When I grow up, I want to be a meteorologist."

Dear Weather Channel Friends,
Thank you for letting me give a weather broadcast on the radio and letting me be on the green screen. You taught that even thought I'm a little girl, I can still be or do anything I want to if I put my mind and hear to it.
Thanks for spending your time with us so we can learn more about weather and thanks for letting us know that girls can be anything they want to be when we grow up. My favorite part was when we stood against the green wall and we had a green piece of paper in our hand and putting it up to our arm, leg, or head and it would look like we didn't have that body part. I never knew what I.T. stood for and know I know what it stands for it stands for in technology. I liked the books a lot that where in the backpack.
P.S. thanks for the nice backpack and the books too!
Love,
Riley Mills"
"Dear Weather Channel,
Thank you for inviting the girls from my school and me to the Weather Channel. I liked making myself be invisible on the green screen and seeing how people predict what the weather will be like in the future. Thank you for letting me come.
From,
Jennie Schaaf
P.S. I learned why they have soft walls in a radio room. So the sound will be softer."

Dear Weather Channel,
Thank you for the backpack and books and having girls from Wood Acres. My favorite part was when I got to stand behind the green screen and got to see what the weather was the next day. I learned that when I grow up I can be anything I want to be. It is important to learn math and other thing if you want to be a woman in technology.

P.S. I hope I become like someone at the weather channel. Write back soon!!"

Dear Mighty Weather Women,
Thank you so much for coming in on a Saturday and showing young girls like me what we can do when we grow up. I had so much fun with the green screen, technology floor, and "Little Boy." I love it and can't wait until I come again with the boys. That will be fun! (Just kidding!)
Sincerely,
Katelyn McCardel"

Dear Weather Channel Friends,
Thank you for letting us come in on a Saturday and teaching us that we can become anything you want to. Also thank you for teaching what girls can do. My favorite part was seeing the women talking on T.V. I really enjoyed taking a tour around and meeting such powerful, important women.
Your friend,
Olivia Caudle
P.S. Thank you for the two books and the backpack. I've already started to read them."

Dear The Weather Channel,
Thank you fro letting us know that girls can be anything they can be! It was so much fun when we pretended to broadcast on the radio. I also learned that becoming a meteorologist is quit challenging. I really liked being on the technology floor. It had tons of wires, and the Little Boy was so big for a Little Boy! The green screen was also very interesting! I can't believe there was so few camera men! Tank you so much for letting us come to The Weather Channel!
